Bindle Bottle Voluntary Recall Notice
Aloha,
We want to let you know that the Bindle Bottle Company, in cooperation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), is voluntarily recalling all Bindle Bottles. If you purchased a Bindle Bottle at one of our three locations, you may be eligible for a free repair kit.
The dry storage container in the bottom of the bottle contains a dot of finishing solder which may contain excess amounts of lead. This potentially poses an exposure risk to lead if unpackaged food is placed in the dry storage compartment. Lead is toxic if ingested and can cause adverse health effects, particularly for young children.
All Bindle Bottle sizes and colors are affected. You may continue to use the water bottle for the storage of liquids. The stainless-steel interior of the water bottle is completely unaffected by this issue. Please STOP using the dry storage compartment of the recalled bottles until a repair kit is applied.

- Bindle Bottle will ship you a free repair kit as soon as it is available.
- Once the repair kit is applied, you may use your dry storage compartment.
