It’s been a busy, fun month here at Noa Botanicals! We debuted three exciting new strains that have already been met with great response from our Patients. Below, we provide an overview of our three new strains: Green Crack (Sativa), Chemdawg (Sativa-Dominant Hybrid), and Lavender Jones (Indica-Dominant Hybrid).
BUT FIRST, #GetCannabisSmart in learning the differences between Indica and Sativa
When browsing Noa Botanicals’ products, you’ll come across two main groups of Cannabis strains: Sativa and Indica. While debates regarding the effects of each strain remain inconclusive, physical characteristics and growth traits help distinguish the two.
In simplest terms, Cannabis Indica plants tend to be short and bushy with wide leaves, while Cannabis Sativa plants grow tall with narrow leaves. We also refer to some strains as “hybrids” which are essentially a cross of the two plants.
If you do additional research on Indica versus Sativa, you’ll find common claims across articles about each plants’ effects, such as Indica being “relaxing & sedating” while Sativa is “cerebral & uplifting”. The truth is, everybody reacts differently to each flower. Here at Noa Botanicals, we don’t claim how you will personally benefit from each strain simply by identifying it as Indica or Sativa. Weedmaps‘ blog explains it best:
“You and your friend might smoke the exact same bud and have two equally distinct experiences.”
Green Crack: (Sativa)
Green Crack descends from our popular strain Skunk #1. This strain may provide Patients with sharp energy and focus as it induces an invigorating mental buzz that keeps you going throughout the day. With a tangy, fruity flavor redolent or mango, Green Crack Sativa is a great daytime strain that may help consumers fight fatigue, stress, and depression. THC: 16%
Chemdawg : Hybrid (Sativa-Dominant)
Make way for the powerhouse, potent strain known as Chemdawg. The original source of powerhouse strains like Sour Diesel and OG Kush, Chemdawg is known for its distinct, diesel-like aroma. Pungent and sharp, you’ll be able to smell this hybrid from a mile away. Cannabis newbies be warned: Chemdawg is very potent. Patients can expect to have a very cerebral experience, coupled with a strong heavy-bodied feeling. THC 16%
Lavender Jones : Hybrid (Indica-Dominant)
Lavender Jones, aka Purple Jones, is a hybrid strain, with parent Purple Urkle passing on dense buds with vibrant hues of purple and green. This strain provides deep relaxation typical of indica varieties, couples with dreamy cerebral euphoria inherited from its hybrid parent, Casey Jones.
